How great is your love (4/4)

Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
But even as he spoke, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy. Listen to him.”While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud overshadowed them, and from the cloud a voice said, “This is my Son, the Beloved; with him I am well pleased; listen to him!”
Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.Do not love the world or the things in the world. The love of the Father is not in those who love the world.
“Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.Rend your hearts and not your clothing. Return to the Lord, your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love, and relents from punishing.
If you love me, obey my commandments.If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.And hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment.
Everyone enjoys a fitting reply; it is wonderful to say the right thing at the right time!To make an apt answer is a joy to anyone, and a word in season, how good it is!
Now may the God of peace— who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood— may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, make you complete in everything good so that you may do his will, working among us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it?
The Lord will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.
Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death, its jealousy as enduring as the grave. Love flashes like fire, the brightest kind of flame.Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is strong as death, passion fierce as the grave. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. May God give you more and more mercy, peace, and love.May mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance.
We cannot imagine the power of the Almighty; but even though he is just and righteous, he does not destroy us.The Almighty —we cannot find him; he is great in power and justice, and abundant righteousness he will not violate.
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger who announces peace, who brings good news, who announces salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”
