- The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- For the whole law is summed up in a single commandment, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

- How happy is the one whom God reproves;

Do not forsake the work of your hands. - What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it?
- This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
- I have made a covenant with my eyes;
how then could I look upon a virgin? - He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
- We must always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of everyone of you for one another is increasing.
- Let all that you do be done in love.
- I made your name known to them, and I will make it known, so that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.
- But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
- May mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance.
- I know what it is to have little, and I know what it is to have plenty. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being well-fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need.
- This also comes from the Lord of hosts;
he is wonderful in counsel,
and excellent in wisdom. - With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
- I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.
- You are altogether beautiful, my love;
there is no flaw in you. - You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how can its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything, but is thrown out and trampled under foot.
