- For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God.
- Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.

Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven. - But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
- For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
- For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
- By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
- Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
- Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
- Excellent speech becometh not a fool:
much less do lying lips a prince. - And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
- So teach us to number our days,
that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. - Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
