- Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.
- Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
- My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
- It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
- I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies,
as much as in all riches. - He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
- The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works. - Some trust in chariots, and some in horses:
but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. - And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
- Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.
- Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. - For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
- Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
- Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
- Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee. - Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
- Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.
- And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
- Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
- I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
- Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him.And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.Next verse!With image
