- For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.
- He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul;
but he that despiseth his ways shall die. - I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
- Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
- And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
- I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
- For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
- And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
- So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
- This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
- For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.
I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,
than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. - I have chosen the way of truth:
thy judgments have I laid before me. - Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance.
- He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust. - One thing have I desired of the Lord,
that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to enquire in his temple. - Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
- For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
- Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.
- Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.
- But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
- Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
- Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - For thus saith the high and lofty One
that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy;
I dwell in the high and holy place,
with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. - And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
for ever.Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.Next verse!With image
