A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart.Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the hearts.
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?
‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions.A fool has no delight in understanding, But in expressing his own heart.
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes. And you shall have the tassel, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of the Lord and do them, and that you may not follow the harlotry to which your own heart and your own eyes are inclined.

The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife.Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.

It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them. For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, Nor did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, Because You favored them.
