It is a snare to say rashly, “It is holy,” and to reflect only after making vows.It is a trap to dedicate something rashly and only later to consider one’s vows.
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart.
To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.
