- The wicked worketh a deceitful work:
but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. - Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
- And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

and according to the fruit of his doings. - But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.
- But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
- For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
- Commit thy way unto the Lord;
trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light,
and thy judgment as the noonday. - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
- Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
