What then? Should we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! Romans 6:15	Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! sin grace law

No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us. 1 John 4:12	No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us. love God neighbor
Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have boldness before God; and we receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do what pleases him. 1 John 3:21-22	Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence. Beloved, we are God's children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. For we have become partners of Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end. Hebrews 3:14	For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. faith trust life
For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more surely, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Ephesians 6:13	Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. protection evil devil
So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9	So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. righteousness reward patience
And this is the boldness we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14	And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. trust prayer listening

Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1	Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. faith righteousness peace
And whenever you fast, do not look dismal, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so as to show others that they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. Matthew 6:16	And when you fast, don’t make it obvious, as the hypocrites do, for they try to look miserable and disheveled so people will admire them for their fasting. I tell you the truth, that is the only reward they will ever get. fasting humility reward
And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. 1 John 5:20	And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life. Jesus understanding truth
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us. Hebrews 12:1	Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. sin life overcoming
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. Matthew 6:12	And forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. debt forgiveness prayer
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who in every respect has been tested as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15	This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. sin temptation compassion
So whenever you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be praised by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. Matthew 6:2	When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. humility reward giving
For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you. Psalm 86:5	O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help. reliability love forgiveness

For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.

Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin.
