- Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.

- All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.
