And the son of man that You visit him? - What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?
- Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.
- Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
- For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
- Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
- What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- In God (I will praise His word),
In God I have put my trust;
I will not fear.
What can flesh do to me? - What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!
- So we may boldly say:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” - He reveals deep and secret things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him. - The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
- And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
- Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”
And they divided His garments and cast lots. - But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
- Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.
- Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
