  • For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
  • For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.
  • Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
