- Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.
- In that day you will say:
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;

and proclaim that his name is exalted.” - But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. - For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.
- He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.

Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.
