- But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
- It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God.
- The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
- Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.

When can I go and meet with God? - Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
- And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
- If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.
- And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
- Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
- For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God? - For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

And who is the Rock except our God? - Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

- For no word from God will ever fail.

- But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord,
I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear me. - In God, whose word I praise—
in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise. - Keep me safe, my God,
for in you I take refuge. - No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
- Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
- God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
- When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.
For you, God, tested us;
you refined us like silver.Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
