And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. Philippians 4:12	I know how to live with little, and I know how to live with plenty. In any and all circumstances, I have learned the secret of being well fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need. contentment food life
Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Romans 5:7-8	Indeed, it is seldom that anyone will die for a just person, although perhaps for a good person someone might be willing to die. See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. 1 John 3:1	See what love the Father has bestowed on us, enabling us to be called the children of God, and that is what we are. Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. 1 John 4:18	In love there is no fear; indeed, perfect love casts out fear, because fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not yet achieved perfection in love. love fear punishment
But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires. 2 Peter 1:4	By these he has given us his precious promises, great beyond all price, so that through them you may escape from the corruption with which evil desires have infected the world and thereby may come to share in the divine nature. reward desires world
For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory. Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law. Romans 13:10	Love cannot result in any harm to the neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the Law. law love neighbor

No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us. 1 John 4:12	No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is made complete in us. love God neighbor

Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me. Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me. Psalm 40:11	O Lord, do not withhold your mercy from me; may your kindness and your truth keep me safe forever. love reliability protection

Better to have little, with godliness, than to be rich and dishonest. Proverbs 16:8	It is better to have little and be righteous than to acquire great riches with injustice. righteousness money contentment
Those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness! Ecclesiastes 5:10	One who is covetous will never be satisfied with money, nor will the lover of wealth be content with gain. This too is vanity. money greed materialism
But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) Ephesians 2:4-5	But God is rich in his mercy, and because he had such great love for us, he brought us to life with Christ when we were already dead through sin—it is by grace that you have been saved. mercy love Jesus
