Chinese (traditional)- Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.
- Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
- Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
in your name I will lift up my hands. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving,
abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you. - Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
- And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
- But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness.
- Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.
- Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.
- If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
- And that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love.
For you will render to a man
according to his work. - With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
- For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
- And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
- O you who love the Lord, hate evil!
He preserves the lives of his saints;
he delivers them from the hand of the wicked. - And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
- And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
- May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.
- But I will sing of your strength;
I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
For you have been to me a fortress
and a refuge in the day of my distress. - He has told you, O man, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God? - For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
- Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
and those who love it will eat its fruits. - Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”
The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from a man's envy of his neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind. Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”Next verse!With image
