| No one who denies the Son has the Father; everyone who confesses the Son has the Father also. | Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also. |
| And the world and its desire are passing away, but those who do the will of God live forever. | The world is passing away and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God continues to live forever. |
