Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me. Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me.Do not, O Lord, withhold your mercy from me; let your steadfast love and your faithfulness keep me safe forever.
You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things.Therefore you have no excuse, whoever you are, when you judge others; for in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, are doing the very same things.
Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name.In the path of your judgments, O Lord, we wait for you; your name and your renown are the soul's desire.
You know what I long for, Lord; you hear my every sigh.O Lord, all my longing is known to you; my sighing is not hidden from you.
Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my help and my God.

He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.I love you, O Lord, my strength. But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker.O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!
I will exalt you, my God and King, and praise your name forever and ever.I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever.
Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!O taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are those who take refuge in him.
You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.It is you who light my lamp; the Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.
Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name, make known his deeds among the peoples.

But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even look up to heaven, but was beating his breast and saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’
Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.O how abundant is your goodness that you have laid up for those who fear you, and accomplished for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of everyone!
My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life.Hear, my child, and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many.
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace— in peace because they trust in you.
I have tried hard to find you— don’t let me wander from your commands.With my whole heart I seek you; do not let me stray from your commandments.

You who love the Lord, hate evil! He protects the lives of his godly people and rescues them from the power of the wicked.The Lord loves those who hate evil; he guards the lives of his faithful; he rescues them from the hand of the wicked.
