It is for people who are lawless and rebellious, who are ungodly and sinful, who consider nothing sacred and defile what is holy, who kill their father or mother or commit other murders. The law is for people who are sexually immoral, or who practice homosexuality, or are slave traders, liars, promise breakers, or who do anything else that contradicts the wholesome teaching that comes from the glorious Good News entrusted to me by our blessed God. |
| If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. | When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. |

You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world. |
| Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His faithfulness to a thousand generations for those who love Him and keep His commandments. | Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands. |
| Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. | Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. |
| So you shall keep His statutes and His commandments which I am giving you today, so that it may go well for you and for your children after you, and that you may live long on the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time. | If you obey all the decrees and commands I am giving you today, all will be well with you and your children. | Seek the Lord, All you humble of the earth Who have practiced His ordinances; Seek righteousness, seek humility. Perhaps you will remain hidden On the day of the Lord’s anger. | Seek the Lord, all who are humble, and follow his commands. Seek to do what is right and to live humbly. Perhaps even yet the Lord will protect you— protect you from his anger on that day of destruction. |
| You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and His provisions and His statutes which He has commanded you. | You must diligently obey the commands of the Lord your God—all the laws and decrees he has given you. |
