- Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
- He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
- Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
- He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.
- This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
- Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
- Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
- Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” - These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
- This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
- I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
- For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

- Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
- Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
- Till the Spirit is poured on us from on high,
and the desert becomes a fertile field,
and the fertile field seems like a forest. - Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
- For this is what the Lord has commanded us:
“I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.”
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you.
