- Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
- Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments. - As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
- How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
