Jesus replied, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.”Jesus answered him, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can’t see God’s Kingdom.”
He said to them, “Then are you also without understanding? Do you not realize that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him, since it enters not into the heart but into the stomach and is discharged into the sewer?” Thus, he pronounced all foods clean.He said to them, “Are you also without understanding? Don’t you perceive that whatever goes into the man from outside can’t defile him, because it doesn’t go into his heart, but into his stomach, then into the latrine, making all foods clean?”
I will make haste and not delay to observe your precepts.I will hurry, and not delay, to obey your commandments.
The tongue of the just man is like pure silver; the heart of the wicked is without worth.The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver. The heart of the wicked is of little worth.

The blessing of the Lord is what brings wealth, and our toil adds nothing to it.Yahweh’s blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it.
All day long the godless man continues to covet, whereas the righteous man gives unsparingly.There are those who covet greedily all day long; but the righteous give and don’t withhold.
It is better to have little and be righteous than to acquire great riches with injustice.Better is a little with righteousness, than great revenues with injustice.
At the appointed time, while we were still helpless, Christ died for the ungodly.For while we were yet weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
Welcome anyone whose faith is weak, but do not get into arguments about doubts.Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions.
So shall my word be that issues forth from my mouth. It will not return to me unfulfilled, but it will accomplish my purpose and achieve what I sent it forth to do.So is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.
One who despairs should have the support of his friends even if he has forsaken the fear of the Almighty.To him who is ready to faint, kindness should be shown from his friend; even to him who forsakes the fear of the Almighty.
Such godly sorrow results in repentance that leads to salvation and causes no regret, whereas worldly sorrow produces death.For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death.
O God, you are my God, for whom I have been searching earnestly. My soul yearns for you and my body thirsts for you, like the earth when it is parched, arid and without water.God, you are my God. I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you, in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.
So Christ, having been offered once to take away the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to bring salvation to those who are eagerly waiting for him.So Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
The powerful suffer want and go hungry, but those who seek the Lord want for no good thing.The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing.
Then Jesus said to him, “You have come to believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”
Make every effort to present yourself before God as one who is worthy of his approval, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, but who imparts the word of truth without any alteration.Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth.

Do not succumb to the love of money, but be content with what you have, for God has said, “I will never forsake you or abandon you.”Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”
Therefore, you have no excuse, whoever you may be, when you pass judgment on others. For in judging others you condemn yourself, since you are doing the same things.Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.

And yet he is aware of everywhere I go; if he were to test me, I would emerge like pure gold. My footsteps have not strayed from the path he established; I have followed his way and never turned aside.But he knows the way that I take. When he has tried me, I will come out like gold. My foot has held fast to his steps. I have kept his way, and not turned away.
