- Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.

And by His stripes we are healed. - But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
- For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
- Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You. - He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul,
But he who is careless of his ways will die. - And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
- But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
- Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
- For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.
- That is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
- You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
- The way of the Lord is strength for the upright,
But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity. - Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.
- I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions,
And like a cloud, your sins.
Return to Me, for I have redeemed you. - Who is a God like You,
Pardoning iniquity
And passing over the transgression
of the remnant of His heritage?
He does not retain His anger forever,
Because He delights in mercy. - This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
- In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
- Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.
- In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
- I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
- Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
