| Lebo ak veríme, že Ježiš zomrel a vstal z mŕtvych, tak Boh aj tých, čo zosnuli, skrze Ježiša privedie s ním. | For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. |
| Lebo na povel, na hlas archanjela a zvuk Božej poľnice sám Pán zostúpi z neba a tí, čo umreli v Kristovi, vstanú prví. Potom my, čo žijeme a zostaneme, budeme spolu s nimi v oblakoch uchvátení do vzduchu v ústrety Pánovi, a tak budeme navždy s Pánom. | For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. |
