7 Bible Verses about Wine

« Habakuk 3:17-18 »

NIV KJV ESV NKJV
X
KAT
Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Go, eat your bread with joy, And drink your wine with a merry heart; For God has already accepted your works.Nuž, hore sa! S radosťou požívaj chlieb a popíjaj víno pri dobrej nálade, lebo Boh mal už dávno radosť z tvojich diel.
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.Ja som vinič, vy ste ratolesti. Kto ostáva vo mne a ja v ňom, prináša veľa ovocia; lebo bezo mňa nemôžete nič urobiť.
Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.”Podobne po večeri vzal kalich a hovoril: „Tento kalich je nová zmluva v mojej krvi, ktorá sa vylieva za vás.“
I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.Chutný chlieb som nezjedol, mäso a víno mi nevošlo do úst a vôbec som sa nepomazal, kým neprešli celé tri týždne.
So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.Keď Ježiš okúsil ocot, povedal: „Je dokonané.“ Naklonil hlavu a odovzdal ducha.
The vine has dried up, And the fig tree has withered; The pomegranate tree, The palm tree also, And the apple tree— All the trees of the field are withered; Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men.Vinič vyschol, figovníky uvädli, granátniky i palmy a jablone, všetky stromy poľa vyschli, áno, zmizla radosť u ľudí.
