- A fool despises his father's instruction,
but whoever heeds reproof is prudent. - Fine speech is not becoming to a fool;
still less is false speech to a prince. - Whoever is wise, let him understand these things;
whoever is discerning, let him know them;
for the ways of the Lord are right,
and the upright walk in them,
but transgressors stumble in them.
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation and my God.Next verse!With image
