- By which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.
- Oh, how abundant is your goodness,
which you have stored up for those who fear you
and worked for those who take refuge in you,
in the sight of the children of mankind! - He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
- The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof,
the world and those who dwell therein. - Know therefore today, and lay it to your heart, that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.

on earth as it is in heaven.” - I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples;
I will sing praises to you among the nations. - Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness:
He was manifested in the flesh,
vindicated by the Spirit,
seen by angels,
proclaimed among the nations,
believed on in the world,
taken up in glory. - For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
- Be exalted, O God, above the heavens!
Let your glory be over all the earth! - And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
- But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
- I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.
- Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be made known in all the earth. - But I say to you, Do not take an oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
