- Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses;
for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth,
nor my transgressions:
according to thy mercy remember thou me
for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. - For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
- For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
- So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
- Blessed is he
whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.
- Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
- The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked shall rot. - The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
- What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
- Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
- And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing.
- There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of death. - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
- Wash you, make you clean;
put away the evil of your doings
from before mine eyes;
cease to do evil. - For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
- Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee. - He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
- We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments.
- For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
- Righteousness exalteth a nation:
but sin is a reproach to any people. - Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
