Chinese (traditional)- Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but whoever hates correction is stupid. - Fools show their annoyance at once,
but the prudent overlook an insult. - Deceit is in the hearts of those who plot evil,
but those who promote peace have joy. - The Lord detests lying lips,
but he delights in people who are trustworthy. - Diligent hands will rule,
but laziness ends in forced labor. - Anxiety weighs down the heart,
but a kind word cheers it up.
Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.Next verse!With image
