- A fool is quick to show his anger,
but a prudent man ignores an insult. - A house and wealth are inherited from parents,
but a prudent wife is a gift from the Lord. - The prudent man perceives danger and seeks shelter,
while the simple continue forward and pay the penalty. - A fool spurns his father’s correction,
but whoever heeds admonition is prudent. - Where many words are spoken, sin is not absent,
but whoever restrains his tongue is prudent. - Let those who are wise understand these words,
and let the prudent acknowledge them.
For straight are the ways of the Lord;
the upright walk in them,
but sinners stumble.
He gives a home to those who are forsaken
and leads out prisoners amid chants of exultation,
while rebels are forced to live in an arid land. If you forgive others for the wrongs they have done, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.Next verse!With image
