Chinese (traditional)This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another. By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. This is how we know what love is:
he laid down his life for us,
and we in turn must be prepared
to lay down our lives for our brethren. Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Next verse! With image
