So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
