- Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say: Rejoice!

- For everyone born of God
conquers the world.
And the victory that conquers the world
is our faith. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. - The Lord will fulfill his plan for me.
Your kindness, O Lord, endures forever;
do not forsake the work of your hands. - So today acknowledge it and take it to heart that the Lord is God in the heavens above and on the earth below. There is no other.
- Reflect on the Lord and his strength;
seek his face continually. - There is only one thing I ask of the Lord,
just one thing I seek:
to dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
so that I may enjoy the beauty of the Lord
and gaze on his temple. - For there is one God,
and there is one mediator between God and man,
Christ Jesus, himself a man. - All this knowledge comes from the Lord of hosts
whose counsel is wonderful
and whose wisdom is great. - Indeed, “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- Whoever does not love
does not know God,
because God is love. - And every tongue should proclaim
to the glory of God the Father:
Jesus Christ is Lord. - This is the message
that we have heard from him
and that we declare to you:
God is light,
and there is no darkness at all in him. - Be still and acknowledge that I am God,
exalted among the nations,
exalted on the earth. - This is how we can be certain
that we abide in him
and that he abides in us:
he has given us a share in his Spirit. - But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those who trust in his kindness. - And eternal life is this:
to know you,
the only true God,
and the one you have sent,
Jesus Christ. - Before the mountains were brought forth
or the earth and the world came into existence,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
