- Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation.

In the end, he will stand upon the earth. - This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you—not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- Salvation belongs to Yahweh.
May your blessing be on your people. Selah. - For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it.
- For the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity,
whose name is Holy, says:

and to revive the heart of the contrite.” - Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
- But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
- How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace,
who brings good news,
who proclaims salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” - As newborn babies, long for the pure spiritual milk, that with it you may grow.
- Turn us again, Yahweh God of Armies.
Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved. - But as for me, I will look to Yahweh.
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. - He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
- He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress.
I will never be greatly shaken. - Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of your name.
Deliver us, and forgive our sins, for your name’s sake.
