And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. | Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. |
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. | Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. |
But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. | But the one who endures to the end will be saved. |
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. | Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you. |
I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. | I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! |
