Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Do'
- And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.
- So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
- Do everything in love.
- Turn from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it. - So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
- And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
- Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
- I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
- The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to act. - “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.
- I desire to do your will, my God;
your law is within my heart. - Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. - To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.
- Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
- You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.
- And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- Do not wear yourself out to get rich;
do not trust your own cleverness. - In God, whose word I praise—
in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
- For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.
- Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground. - So we say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?” - How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”Next verse!With image
