- For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
- Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
- Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
- There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?
- No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
- Better a patient person than a warrior,
one with self-control than one who takes a city. - All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.
- Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
- Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
- In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
- I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
- Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.
- But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high. - But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.
- But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!
- And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
- Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
- But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.
- And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one. - The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.
- For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
- Can a man walk on hot coals
without his feet being scorched? - Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
- Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.Next verse!With image
