Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Overcome'
- Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
- And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
- These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
- For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
- Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
- Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
- Order my steps in thy word:
and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. - To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
- Surely he shall not be moved for ever:
the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. - He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
- And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
- And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
- A little that a righteous man hath
is better than the riches of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken:
but the Lord upholdeth the righteous. - Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
God setteth the solitary in families:
he bringeth out those which are bound with chains:
but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.Next verse! With image
