Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Takes'
- For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people:
he will beautify the meek with salvation. - Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
- O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. - A fool hath no delight in understanding,
but that his heart may discover itself. - The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. - A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself;
but the simple pass on, and are punished. - I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
- Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
- Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
- He that walketh uprightly walketh surely:
but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. - For I the Lord thy God
will hold thy right hand,
saying unto thee, Fear not;
I will help thee. - The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him. - Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not?
for riches certainly make themselves wings;
they fly away as an eagle toward heaven. - Envy thou not the oppressor,
and choose none of his ways.
For the froward is abomination to the Lord:
but his secret is with the righteous. - But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
- When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
- When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.
- A little that a righteous man hath
is better than the riches of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken:
but the Lord upholdeth the righteous. - Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
- He that walketh uprightly,
and worketh righteousness,
and speaketh the truth in his heart.
He that backbiteth not with his tongue,
nor doeth evil to his neighbour,
nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. - Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.
- Who is a God like unto thee,
that pardoneth iniquity,
and passeth by the transgression
of the remnant of his heritage?
he retaineth not his anger for ever,
because he delighteth in mercy. - Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
- Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding:
but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.Next verse!With image
