- He who guards his mouth makes his life secure,

- Wait quietly for the Lord
and be patient until he comes.
Do not fret over the man who prospers
because of his evil schemes. - Those who live according to the flesh can never be pleasing to God.
- It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior,
one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city. - Everyone who hears these words of mine and acts in accordance with them will be like a wise man who constructed his house on a rock foundation.
- Indeed, the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- Bless those who persecute you; bless them and do not curse them.
- Have no fear of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, fear the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. - And said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me; and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. For the one who is least among all of you is the one who is the greatest.”
