- The fear of Yahweh teaches wisdom.
Before honor is humility. - Seek Yahweh and his strength.
Seek his face forever more. - A man’s steps are established by Yahweh.
He delights in his way. - ‘Return, you backsliding Israel,’ says Yahweh; ‘I will not look in anger on you, for I am merciful,’ says Yahweh. ‘I will not keep anger forever.’
- Seek Yahweh while he may be found.
Call on him while he is near. - For who is God, besides Yahweh?
Who is a rock, besides our God? - Deliver my soul, Yahweh, from lying lips,
from a deceitful tongue. - Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me? - Praise Yahweh, my soul!
All that is within me, praise his holy name! - Yahweh makes poor and makes rich.
He brings low, he also lifts up. - Yahweh commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear Yahweh our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are today.
- For you will light my lamp, Yahweh.
My God will light up my darkness. - Yahweh is righteous in all his ways,
and gracious in all his works. - Salvation belongs to Yahweh.
May your blessing be on your people. Selah. - Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh,
since we have hoped in you. - It is better to take refuge in Yahweh,
than to put confidence in man. - Trust in Yahweh, and do good.
Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. - For whoever finds me finds life,
and will obtain favor from Yahweh. - Yahweh said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power. Only on himself don’t stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of Yahweh.
- “Yahweh is my portion,” says my soul.
“Therefore I will hope in him.” - Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who hope in Yahweh. - Therefore you shall keep my commandments, and do them. I am Yahweh.
- I sought Yahweh, and he answered me,
and delivered me from all my fears. - I will bless Yahweh at all times.
His praise will always be in my mouth. - Oh come, let’s worship and bow down.
Let’s kneel before Yahweh, our Maker.
