Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about the Father
- Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. - Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
- My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord;
neither be weary of his correction:
For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth;
even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. - But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
- Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
- Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
- Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.
- A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
- Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
- Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
- Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
- Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
- Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
- But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
- Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
- He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
- He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
- For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
- And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God,
The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. - No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
- In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.Next verse!With image
