- Jesus therefore answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.”

my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. - He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me.
- Wash yourselves. Make yourself clean.
Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes.
Cease to do evil. - I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go.
I will counsel you with my eye on you. - My times are in your hand.
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. - My flesh and my heart fails,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. - Yahweh, the Lord, is my strength.
He makes my feet like deer’s feet,
and enables me to go in high places. - I will lift up my eyes to the hills.
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from Yahweh,
who made heaven and earth. - Yahweh, you have searched me,
and you know me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up.
You perceive my thoughts from afar. - Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire.
- I acknowledged my sin to you.
I didn’t hide my iniquity.
I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh,
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah. - ‘Return, you backsliding Israel,’ says Yahweh; ‘I will not look in anger on you, for I am merciful,’ says Yahweh. ‘I will not keep anger forever.’
- He who overcomes will be arrayed in white garments, and I will in no way blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
- I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
- Have mercy on me, God, according to your loving kindness.
According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity.
Cleanse me from my sin.
