| But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. | God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. | God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. |
| Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword. | Don’t think that I came to send peace on the earth. I didn’t come to send peace, but a sword. |
