Let it be known to you therefore, my brothers, that through this… Acts 13:38-39

Let it be known to you therefore, my brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you; by this Jesus everyone who believes is set free from all those sins from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses. Acts 13:38-39	Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is made right in God’s sight—something the law of Moses could never do. Jesus forgiveness freedom
Well then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? Galatians 3:5	I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ. Spirit listening

You who want to be justified by the law have cut yourselves off from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. Galatians 5:4	For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace. righteousness grace Jesus
I the Lord am your God; follow my statutes, and be careful to observe my ordinances, and hallow my sabbaths that they may be a sign between me and you, so that you may know that I the Lord am your God. There is one lawgiver and judge who is able to save and to destroy. So who, then, are you to judge your neighbor? James 4:12	God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor? judgment salvation neighbor
We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law. Galatians 2:15-16	You and I are Jews by birth, not ‘sinners’ like the Gentiles. Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. You must neither add anything to what I command you nor take away anything from it, but keep the commandments of the Lord your God with which I am charging you. Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. Deuteronomy 6:4-5	Listen, O Israel! The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever. Psalm 111:10	Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever! awe wisdom worship
The way of the Lord is a stronghold for the upright, but destruction for evildoers. Proverbs 10:29	The way of the Lord is a stronghold to those with integrity, but it destroys the wicked. sin reliability
You shall not murder; You shall not commit adultery; You shall not steal; You shall not bear false witness; Honor your father and mother; also, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 19:18b-19	You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. Honor your father and mother. I shall walk at liberty, for I have sought your precepts. Psalm 119:45	I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments. freedom seeking
Turn my heart to your decrees, and not to selfish gain. Psalm 119:36	Give me an eagerness for your laws rather than a love for money! greed heart selfishness
Thus you shall keep my commandments and observe them: I am the Lord. Leviticus 22:31	You must faithfully keep all my commands by putting them into practice, for I am the Lord. obedience God
I do not nullify the grace of God; for if justification comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing. Galatians 2:21	I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die. grace righteousness Jesus
If any of you sin without knowing it, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, you have incurred guilt, and are subject to punishment. Leviticus 5:17	Suppose you sin by violating one of the Lord’s commands. Even if you are unaware of what you have done, you are guilty and will be punished for your sin. sin punishment
If only they had such a mind as this, to fear me and to keep all my commandments always, so that it might go well with them and with their children forever! Deuteronomy 5:29	Oh, that they would always have hearts like this, that they might fear me and obey all my commands! If they did, they and their descendants would prosper forever. obedience blessing children
Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Matthew 5:17	Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. Jesus prophecy
They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them. John 14:21	Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them. love Father
Happy are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord. Psalm 119:1	Joyful are people of integrity, who follow the instructions of the Lord. righteousness life blameless
The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is clear, enlightening the eyes. Psalm 19:8	The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living. joy heart light
In the path of your judgments, O Lord, we wait for you; your name and your renown are the soul's desire. Isaiah 26:8	Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name. righteousness desires
Your decrees are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart. Psalm 119:111	Your laws are my treasure; they are my heart’s delight. joy heart
