The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in kindness. The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
During the day the Lord grants his kindness, and at night his praise is with me, a prayer to the living God.The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me— A prayer to the God of my life.
In view of all this, you should make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with endurance, and endurance with piety, and piety with mutual affection, and mutual affection with love. But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
If I give away everything to feed the poor and hand over my body to be burned, but do not have love, I achieve nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
You shall not hate your brother in your heart, nor shall you rebuke your brother in any way, lest you bear sin because of him. You shall not seek vengeance nor bear a grudge against the children of your people. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord. You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
Your kindness is a greater joy than life itself; thus my lips will speak your praise. I will bless you all my life; with uplifted hands I will call on your name.Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
But as for you, man of God, you must shun all this. Rather, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, fortitude, and gentleness. But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.
And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a sacrificial offering whose fragrance is pleasing to God.And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
For from the beginning you have heard the message that we should love one another. For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
When I realized that my foot was slipping, your kindness, O Lord, raised me up.If I say, “My foot slips,” Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up.
Beloved, since God loved us so much, we should love one another.Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Let mutual love continue, and do not forget to offer hospitality to strangers, for by doing this some have entertained angels without knowing it.Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
Although the mountains may be shaken and the hills may totter, my steadfast love will not depart from you, and my covenant of peace will never be shaken, says the Lord who has compassion on you.“For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.
Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
Do not love the world or what is in the world. If anyone does love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
I give you a new commandment: love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you should also love one another.A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

Anyone who has received my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.
O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, filled with kindness for all who cry to you.For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.

Such hope will not be doomed to disappointment, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

But God is rich in his mercy, and because he had such great love for us, he brought us to life with Christ when we were already dead through sin—it is by grace that you have been saved. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
