You need to be steadfast if you want to do the will of God and receive what he has promised.For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
Those who live according to the flesh fix their attention on the things of the flesh, while those who live according to the Spirit set their thoughts on spiritual things.For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
However, whoever lives by the truth comes to the light so that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been done in God.But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinegrower. He removes every branch that does not bear fruit, and every branch that does he prunes to make it bear even more.I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
When anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayer is detestable.One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination.
To do your will, O God, is my delight; your law is in my heart.I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart.
The Lord commanded us to observe all of these statutes and to fear the Lord, our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, even as we are today.And the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day.
What I commanded them was this: Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. If you follow all the ways that I command you, then you will prosper.But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.’
