See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all. | See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people. |

But the free gift isn’t like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. | But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ. |

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. |

Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions. | Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong. |
All of your words are truth. Every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever. | The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever. |
One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. | Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble. |
