Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.
He called you to salvation when we told you the Good News; now you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.To which he called you through our Good News, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me!”Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!”
Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?”
Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”But Jesus said, “Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.”
They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.”They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus.For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.”But Jesus hearing it, answered him, “Don’t be afraid. Only believe, and she will be healed.”
Asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.
You and I are Jews by birth, not ‘sinners’ like the Gentiles. Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.We, being Jews by nature and not Gentile sinners, yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.
He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!He who testifies these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus!
But Jesus told them, “I will be with you only a little longer. Then I will return to the one who sent me.”Then Jesus said, “I will be with you a little while longer, then I go to him who sent me.”
Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”
Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death?Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.”
For I decided that while I was with you I would forget everything except Jesus Christ, the one who was crucified.For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where he was tempted by the devil for forty days. Jesus ate nothing all that time and became very hungry.Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by the devil. He ate nothing in those days. Afterward, when they were completed, he was hungry.

When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
