Look! He comes with the clouds of heaven. And everyone will see him— even those who pierced him. And all the nations of the world will mourn for him. Yes! Amen! But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently. Romans 8:25	But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. trust hope patience

Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life. 1 John 5:20	And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths. For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ himself is that reality. And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come. Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. Matthew 7:15	Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. second coming prophecy clothing
And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right! James 3:10	Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. sin speaking worship
You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:8-9	Whom having not seen you love. Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come. 1 Timothy 4:8	For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. health obedience life
So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. James 2:17	Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. faith life following
Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” Matthew 19:21	Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” blameless giving materialism
See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. 1 John 3:1	Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!
